I looked at those today at Wal-mart and they didn't seem to allow much light in and I didn't like the fact that the plastic wasn't clear so you would hardly be able to make out the snake inside. They do look like they would work fine for a inexpensive cage if you needed it, but I like to be able to see the snakes more easily.
