ATB and the bad shed

Hey gang!
Stopped by with some new pics.. my lovely ATB that I got from Brett/Julius...
how're everyone else's ATBs doing from this same clutch? [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Mine was having a bad shed...



The shed was stuck on her lower jaw and the entire body, I got
it off the body pretty easily but the lower jaw was a real pain.
She shed again and it was better, but still that lower jaw
old skin refused to come off... so I kept soaking her every
other day and finally added some moss to the bottom of the cage:


And one month later... a perfect shed! She still hasn't bitten me either...


Here she is (in blue) resting on one of the perches..

YAY! Hisba's back....to stay I hope [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] They dry out easy....gotta keep humidity up [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] Misting usually isn't enough...I always have to pour water into the substrate over the UTH area to create high humidity. You don't have to worry about the bottom being too damp...they can retreat to the pirches anytime they want. Good to see ya April. You have been missed by many.

My little kiddo from Julius is doing great too! He is growing like a weed though. Eating fuzzy mice like no tomorrow.

Julius, I've been misting twice a day and keeping the moss damp, I think I've finally got
it pretty steady (thankfully!!). BTW, when did you become the guru of poo? LOL
Does this mean I need to get my snakes to ask you for a permit before they can "go"
or just to ask you for spirital advice while "going"?
