It is a 20 gallon enclosure with the longside up. I used pvc piping to construct my snakes aboreal "jungle gym". To secure the PVC Piping into the aquarium, I used a nontoxic aquarium sealent which seems to be doing a goodjob of keeping it in place.

Is your thermometer working? Is it really 68 degrees in that cage?

It's not a thermometer JS. It's a piece-o-junk hydrometer. No offense to the set-up, but that hydrometer isn't worth stomping on to me. I like the rest of your set up though! Great looking ATB. =)

OH! Holy crap, you'r right. lol. They work pretty good in low humidity cages. It's when they get some moisture in them that they seem to stop working....which kinda makes them useless to begin with. I have a ton of them and just for fun, I stuck them in my emerald cages. I can turn on the humidifyer and create a fog so thick that you can't see the snake, perches anything. The glass will fog up and water droplets will drip from the roof, yet the TRex hygrometer never reads above 40% lol

Not really. You can handle two cages with this dual probe thermometer/hydrometer for $35.
That makes it $8.75 per digital funtion and $17.50 per cage to handle both heat and humidity.

Yeah you guys are right about that piece of crap Hydrometer. I had a humidifer in my room, along with mistings and it never went past %70. If It ever did, it would immiedeatly drop. It got me kind of frustrated keeping the humidity levels, till I realized the gauge sucked lol. Julius were do you get the humidifers that make the fog?.. Most of mine just blow out clear air.

If I had to guess, he purchased them at the dollar store. They're probably humidifiers with ultrasonic foggers built in.
