New pair of Emeralds on the way. Boy am I excited
Well I finally got some emeralds. They are an adult pair of LTC's. They are northerns. Not the most spectacular specimans I have ever seen, but nice none the less. I have been wanting some emeralds for a long time and there was a breeder that wanted to plug some of my pastels into some of his other projects so now everybody it happy. They won't be here until next wednesday, but I do have some pictures of them. So by this time next year I will hopefully have some baby emeralds literally hanging around here. I am all goosebumpy.LOL
And I am just as excited that my pastels are going out to another breeder to help prove them out as their own (my own) line. Things just couldn't get any better around here right now.

The current owner bought them as long term captives. The female has been in his collection for a year now and the male for about 5 months. Before that I am not exactly sure. He is a reputable breeder and has told me that these are both healthy animals and eat well with no regurge problems. One nice thing is that he has told me they are handlable, at least during the daytime LOL!.

I only meant that they were not the cleanest looking in pattern that I had seen. But they are beautiful and I too think that all emeralds are beautiful not matter what their patten looks like.

Good looking Emeralds David. They are amazingly beautiful snakes and a joy to watch if you ask me.
