I was finally able to capture a better pic of
this big meanie. She is related to the lividums (cobalt blues),
If any of y'all are familiar with cobalts, then you
know what a pain in the a#@ it is to get these suckers to
behave!

very cool, i'm gonna get one of those sometime to go with my growing asian /haplopelma collection(i beleave those are the ones they call edibles) , but if you wanna see a psycho t you should get a haplpelma Minax(thailand black) or a haplopelma schmidti(chinese gold tiger), but in my opinion their all pretty dam aggressive, god i love haps---Jeff

All the Halpopelma species pretty much have the same disposition. Only thing that drives me nuts about them is that they're incredibly pretty spiders, but if set up properly, you'll never see them because, in general, they rarely come out of their burrow. I need to find a captive breeder of those species - tired of getting sad looking imports.

Thats the way my male cobalt blue looks ,,, my female shes almost jet black with electric blue sheen to her.. and ya she would rather rip your face off than let you open her door..she just flys right out of her burrow right at your face...Thats what her name is( Devil in a blue dress!!!!) hehehehehe!! She always means biz and so does he ,, his attitude is just as bad.. but i do have others with a real bad attitude as well.. Have fun ........Still looks like some sort of a earth tiger to me.. Later!
