Help Help

I have a rose haired tranula. She was very dark and brown. Now she is losing her color and she really not moving around. Could there be something wrong with her. Also there are litte white bugs that are all in her water dish. I have cleaned out her cage many times and still cant get rid of them. What do I do. I also have balck emperial scproions. One just died a few days ago, he was stinging himself in the arm. I noticed a day before he was doing this he could not move it. He was stinging himself and taking his other claw to move the broken one but after a hour he went stiff. Than the other is a female and I think she might be obese. All she does is stay in the same spot and she is hugh. U can see the bands between her armor on her back very well. What do I do. This are my husbands pets, but I toke over cause he is too busy. We have had the tranunla for 5 months, The female scorpion about a year and the other scorpion that died for like 3 months. Thanks any advise will help.

Re: Help

The female Scorpion could be pregnate, I study reptile's so this really is not my thing. I have nver heard of what the other scorpion was going! As far as the rose hair, she could be getting ready to shed her skin and about the bugs i have no clue. It could be a possible parasite if she/he was wild caught like many of them are. I am sure someone else here will have more helpful information to give you. I wish you the best of luck with your little critter's. You did a very responsible thing by asking for help. I can tell you and your hubby really care about your pets. Best of luck!!!

Re: Help

A picture says a lot. Is there any way to get halfway decent pics of them???
The T could be dehydrated. What is you set up like? They do turn a drab brown before a molt. But when molting their abdomens are usually bigger than normal and have a black skinned bootie.
As for the P imperator, yea she could be gravid. Usually, being previously bred in the wild.
