New B.smithi!!!!
So i dunno how i did it, but i managed to convince the mother-figure to allow tarantulas. so not only is she ok with the rose-hair i already have, I was allowed to get this little bugger:
His name is Lamp. He's just an itty baby, and I look forward to watching him grow (even if i am IMPATIENT) lol.

Beautiful little smithi. I currently have 2 and I know I'll get 1 or 2 more.
As for an OBT, they are very pretty, but fast and ouchy. They are better for the more experienced keepers.

Yeah, I know they're a "more experienced" tarantula, but I've cared for them at work and whatnot. they're just sooo pretty

I realize that mine are still slings, but so far they have been great. They have built nice little burrows and disappear into them when disturbed.Never shown a defensive display yet
