Re: A couple of Medusa
It depends on the T...This one is a rosehair and she is pretty easy!

Re: A couple of Medusa
She is great looking... and very well fed... Either she has a molt coming or you need to back off of the crickets a little bit.

Re: A couple of Medusa
she is actually due for a molt...she only gets about 2 small crickets every 3-5 days...and sometimes even longer if there is a stray cricket in the cage that she hasn't gotten to yet.
Thanks all!

She sure looks like it....
But actually, that is quite a bit of food for a T that size... G. rosea are a slow growing species that should only be fed 1 cricket a week... Sometimes two after a molt.
Hernias have been known now to be problems of "plump" Ts. That is where a perferation of the interior newly forming exoskeleton happens. It can lead to a nasty infected sore and/or total perferation and death.
I wouldn't feed her again until she molts or her abdomen goes down.

Re: A couple of Medusa
pretty pretty T! If its girlie then you should send her over and let her be Khan's girlfriend. He's getting desperate.
