OK, everyone pretty much knows I am TERRIFIED of spiders.........lmao. However, there is one that I can look at without getting all goosebumpy, and I think it's because it is so striking. It is the little pink toe that overtech posted a pice of, one of his new spiders. Now, I still don't want one, but I don't mind looking at that one, and have gone back to look at it several times, even.

I've always liked the Mexican Redknees. Still hope to get one in the future.

I used to have a large female Redknee. She was 8", and the meanest spider i have ever seen. Even my mental goliath cannot come close. She lived to near 20 years old.

To a six year old, it was like a monster. My dad has held every single one of all the Tarantulas he has ever owned apart from her.

I have only recently gotten heavily into tarantulas but I agree with a couple of the other posters, I think the pink toes are really cute as far as tarantulas go! I am quite partial to the Poecilotheria sp. also, very cute but not as "cuddly" as pinktoes! Most of my Avics are very tolerant to handling also, which is cool. Here are some pics of some of them. Pretty darn cute if ya ask me!
The last picture is of a freshly molted mature female Avicularia avicularia. I am a longtime herper and will be for life but I have been bitten by the spider bug bad. They are fascinating animals!
