But you all are the first to get ticked off when people call water snakes copperheads. Hypocrites, all of you. Wolfs don't give nasty bites. I was bit by a carolina wolf once [one of the biggest species of wolves] after free handling it and accidentally pinching its leg and obviously it bit. The bite was little more than a pinch, no blood at all. This thread is really ticking me off.

Re: the spider
What's it to you? All I'm saying is if you want people to understand your hobby than understand theirs. I see people slam this forum in just about every thread. If I did what they do on a snake forum you'd all be angry and work on getting me banned.

Re: the spider
1st off
Do not speak to me like that, I am actually very fond of spiders and have a bunch in my house, captive.
2nd
you cant expect everyone to like what you like.
Most people, MOST, actually try to help these people, Yea people do get slammed on ocasion sometimes for no reason, but I personally have learned a lot from louise and she doesnt like certain spiders. OH WELL.. and yes you are working on getting banned by acting like you are.
This site is to educate. Not start arguements.

Okay I know for a fact that if I took a picture of a snake that I killed and put it in the ID section I would get SLAMMED big time. Because thats just messed up, right? But people can just come on here joke and talk casually about killing any spider and its alright. I think its a sad loss of life when animals are killed for no other reason than "they creep me out." If you go out and hunt deer to eat than thats one thing, killing because you're too stupid to appreciate animals other than reptiles is not okay. I'm not talking about you Luka3232, notice I said "they?"

BCI Man- I understand where you are coming from, but there's no need to be rude about it. It's completely possible to get your message across without insulting people.

Re: the spider
Louise, I'm right there with you. Spiders scare the bejeezus out of me too. Every once in a while I'm taking a bath and see a spider floating in the tub with me. You have never seen anyone leap out so quickly and go flying out of the room! Fortunately I don't think I've ever been bit by one--that would creep my out even more. But if there is one on my ceiling, I won't be able to sleep all night wondering if it will drop into my bed. Sorry, I will NOT cuddle a spider, even if it falls into my bed!
You know I have been considering a move to the East Coast, and one thing has gotten me thinking twice about it--brown recluse spiders. CREEEEEEPY!!!!
