Never thought one of those would come in as a rescue, but I guess you can never discount the depths humankind will stoop to when abandoning animals.
I had this beautiful female rosehair turned over to me, no idea of the age - but I have a feeling she's rather old. Her cage looked like it hasn't been cleaned in literally years, and her water sponge was so dried up it won't absorb at all anymore - so she's been neglected for a while I'm guessing.

She immediately went to drink when I filled up a dish for her. Other than that... raising the humidity in the tank for a while will help. Roseys are generally a lower humidity spider anyway, so they are tolerant of it, but still. Every creature needs water.

Way to go Rav! Nice looking Rosie! Yeah water is definately the building block of life for T's no way around that! So Rav how's her temperment? Is she your common RH as far as that goes??
Lori you can also give them pedylate 50/50 mixture as you would a reptile but you obviously can't soak them! Hehehe!
I just find it amazing that T's don't use muscle's to walk but instead use Blood Pressure!

She's rather sluggish... and I'm not really sure if that is from her dehydration or her neglect or what... but now that she is on a more proper setup - we'll see in a week or so whether she changes or not. Hopefully she'll perk up a little bit.

Ravnos - Glad to hear you decided to rescue her, but on the up side.. she really looks pretty good, actually. The abdomen is rounder than most Rose Hair's I've seen (including my own ) and aside from the fact that she appears to be a hair-kicker, she looks pretty good to me. Dehydration may well have been the case, from what you described. Just be sure you ditch that sponge, and don't buy another one - Those are bad news for T's, and so many places still reccommend them.
