umm, ive always heard the smaller the tail, the more toxic a scorpion is, is that true??

Actually, the rule of thumb is, the smaller the pincers and bigger the stinger, the more venomous the scorpion is. The logic is that an insect that has 'weaker' pincers needs a way to keep their prey from hurting them, and to quicky subdue the prey as well. Scorps like the Emperor have larger pincers and fairly mild venom. Mine rarely will sting prey, unless the prey is a mouse.
