There is actually really colorfull types that are perfect for beginners. Hi, I'm new here but this is a topic I know alot about! The Avicularia species (pinktoes) is great for beginners. The colorful ones that I am refering to are the versicolors. The only problem is once you start getting into the more vibrant colors or more pronounced patterns the more $$$$ you end up spending. $150-$200 for a spider seems like an awful lot for a beginner, but the habit kinda grows on you after awhile!
