we dont have them around here, but think its called a banana spider.. not sure of the actual Latin name though... When you all take pics of these spiders, put a ruler up next to it so we can get an idea of how large it it... in this picture that thing looks to be 3" big.. but its not...

Yea...I'd put something next to it for scale, but like I said...I'm not a huge fan of spiders. The only reason I got those close ups was because my camera has a zoom button! I like watching it, but I'm not snuggling up to it!

I feel you Brandon. As soon as they start to crawl, I get the heebie-jeebies or whatever. I get chills running all over. Anyways really pretty spider, I like it much better on the computer screen than in real life!
