Do sea-monkeys count as a exotic pet? They are exotic shrimp, but they taste like crap. J/K Actually, sea monkeys are an excellent pet. After you have killed them all you can get some more for 50 cents. [addsig]

Because they're monkeys that are like, you know, from the sea. Good answer isn't it? [addsig]

Because they masterbate in public, just like primates. Errrr, nevermind.
Nah, but my guess is probably to catch your attention so you'll pay that dealer 2 bux for some #$%^$%^$%^$%^& brine shrimp that ya thought would get big and swing from tree to tree? I dunno. [addsig]

Just a pet trade scam to catpture the imagination of kids long enough to get em to buy the little kits. They are regaining popularity again as is most of the 60s-70s nostalgia. Lava lamps, sea monkeys, Next thing ya know bellbottoms will be back...ugh n/m I think I just saw a pair walk by the window here. Be back later...I gotta install an 8 track player in my car...upgrading that rusty old cd player.

Yes, amazing sea-monkeys were named that way to sell more shrimp. They came with a booklet explaining all about sea-monkey life and culture and how to train them. Oh, the many hours of fun you can have watching little shrimp swim in circles. [addsig]

Well, at least it's the sixties that's coming back and not the 70's or worse yet, the 80's.
