Seeing as I was made a moderator of the Frog and Toads forum I figured I better start doing some research and get at least some frog experience under my belt [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
I have done some research and have set up a 29 gallon tall terrarium. It has been set up and "working" for close to a month now. After emailing back and forth with Quality Captives a few times I have decided to start with some Costa Rican Green & Black Auratus. So I have some basic "book knowledge" now but have not talked to many people with "real world" experience.
Does anyone have any Tips and Tricks"?
Any opinoins or recommendations on keeping Poison Dart Frogs?

I don't have any but I think they're pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I've got a really good caresheet around here somewhere from the guy next to us at last years expo. If I remember right it even discusses how to set up your own fruit fly colony. I can send it to you if you like. I have to find it first of course. Dart's are awesome. I have been fascinated with them for some time now. I have been planning to get some but do not yet have the money. I kept a couple of redeye's which are similar, but one ate the other (same size oddly enough) and then the remaining one got sick and died. One tip i have is to watch out when you get them out, those buggers can projectile urinate about 3 feet behind them. And boy does that surprise you the first time they do that. I have been wanting some darts for a long time stormy, but I have yet to have one either. I always hesitate getting into new animals. I have been wanting and reading for far too long on these guys though. I will have some one day.
