I was wondering, what are the best type of plants to put into a frog tank? If you reply with the scientific name could you also give the common name as well. Thanks .

Sorry, I don't know enough about the pacific treefrogs to offer any advice. Of course plastic plants are easy to clean and easy to keep green

Most ferns (Birds nest, maiden hair, squirrels foot, etc.) would work and tolerate the relative low light levels in a terrarium plus add a natural, wooded look, along with mosses. Otherwise the fairly common Pothos and other Philodendron relatives will work, though some grow pretty fast and large for most set-ups. Some of the ornamental leaved or Rex-cultorum Begonias would be fun and showy as well as variegated Ivy. None of these should be toxic, to the best of my knowledge. Tillandsias (air-plants) attached to wood pieces are always good as well as some of the more dwarf Bromeliads (often used in Dendrobates set-ups).
Look for any residue on plants you buy for your frog tank, as some nurseries spray pesticides just as a precautionary measure before shipping plants out. Wash the leaves of anything you put in the tank very carefully, top and bottom sides.
