Oh yes, sports authority has very economical ones! I prefer hip waders to chest waders, since there's more likelyhood of drowning from you chest waders filling with water if you step in too deep. However, hip waders don't protect your bum if you squat down to examine a frog, I learned that first hand! Hah!
Thanks Trinity, I will do my best.

My first thought about drowning in chest waders was you could swim out of them if that did happen, but upon further thinking on it I would say they probably cling to you pretty hard once you get all that water in them. Just a thought if anyone was thinking the same thing. Still not a good idea.
Speaking of that...I have always thought that drowning would be one of the worst ways to die. I can't imagine a worse ending to a herping trip than loosing one of your buddies while looking for frogs.

Glad to have you back to pitch in, "just call me Jay"!
I won't be aggravating you about frogs & toads since I don't have any, so that just means I will have to aggravate you on other things!

Alas, I made alternate plans after my exodus; I'm still going herping, just heading down to Texas to catch up with Telefrag.
