American Bullfrogs.

Very common in America and often overlooked as a pet frog.

I have kept these guys almost forever. mainly in preformed plastic ponds in my yard.

Every winter I bring a couple inside and leave the rest to overwinter outdoors.

I produce albinos from this group as well.

Heres a few pictures of my Bullies.

Re: American Bullfrogs.

An interesting fact is the frogs just appeared after I put the ponds in, many different frogs and toads came out of the woods attracted by the water.

I did add some albino bullfrogs years ago, but all the others are wild frogs that just showed up at a friendly happy frog place.

These small ponds produce many, many tads and lil froglets.

Re: American Bullfrogs.

Awesome. How big are your ponds? Look huge in comparing to the adult(?) bullfrogs.

Experience anything else coming to the ponds?

Re: American Bullfrogs.

Nice ponds, it must be great to have land and not stuck in a apartment. I plan on building a pond or two whenever I get my first house.

The small ones are 50 gallons and the large ones are 220 gallons.

Have seen alot of different things around them including deer, pheasants, wild turkeys, all types of snakes.
