What would be a better more eye catching substrate for some ground-dwelling frogs like pac-mans,bullfrogs,dwarf leaf frogs? Something for a more display look that's better then like wet paper towels or something of that nature. Would one of the forest beddings be any good?

I have seen a lot of people use aquarium gravel.
Done know if thats the best idea, but if you remove the animal to feed, its probably ok.

I use a large washed river gravel for my bullfrog, and it works fine.

Hey,


Gravel isn't such a good idea, for them imapction reason and also bacteria growing. Use bed-a-beast or other ground co-co nut husk. It works for all frogs and is the best. Inexpensive and easy to replace. Hope I helped
