Eight weeks ago we rescued some frog spawn from our driveway.
The tadpoles that hatched still have not developed legs! Why so???
Thought they would be hopping away by now.We think they are
Limnodynastes peroni.
P.S. I know oz is a world away ,a ball park guess is fine.
thanks

I looked for about a half hour, and I couldn't find anything that tells how long they remain tadpoles. I found a bunch of sites that have the adult male's call, but nothing about tadpoles. Sorry....

thanx for trying guys.
Even just an average for all species &/or
factors which may affect this timespan e.g.
food, sunlight etc. No worries if no ideas
They seem to be kicking along O.K!

Not long at all. Some frogs remain tadpoles for over 6 months, so enjoy those water changes, lol!

No digicam atm.
The camera I do have doesn't have very good
macro capabilities unfortunately.
