hello all, im kim a new owner of a tree frog. I figured i should try to find some more experienced people as friends so i can bug you all if anything comes up

.
So a little back story: my neighbors (in a multiplex) moved out a couple days back and left nearly everything behind including a little frog in a 29g tank on thier patio. After not seeing them for a few days i decided to 'rescue' the frog this morning. It hadn't been fed so i gave it a couple crickets (thankfully i have a real close decent LPS) and misted it's enclosure with dechlorinated water. it ate and is now sleeping (i think?!) it looks healthy has very nice markings and i think it'll be just fine.
I'm researching frog care now; discovered he/she was a Pacific Tree Frog a native and likely wild caught. My friends are suggesting i release it but i am weary since i don't know how long it's been captive and were it was caught. I am going to consider release but honestly will likely keep the lil guy.
I'm going to do some redesigning of it's cage; adding live plants for more hiding spots, replacing water 'dish' with something more suitable and adding a couple new rocks and wood/bamboo items. Eventually i'll probably pick up one of those exoterra terrariums because i think it'll be easier to maintain (i'm a rather petite girl and the 29g looks like it'll be difficult for me to work with).
so thats about it, i've found most the info i need with some looking around so i don't have any specific questions (yet!) and i'm pretty confident that this should all work out ok for our new little buddy. If anything i said sends up red flags or you have suggestions i am definetly coming back for comments and will take them seriously. Also I will post a pic once i get my digicam working
Talk to you all soon, Kim
