Hey Heather Green Tree Frog's live if I'm not mistaken around 10 to 15 year's if kept healthy! I may be wrong on the life expectance thing. About the only way to tell male from female is to wait til you hear one bark it sound's like a duck and is very loud! If you hear more than one answer you will have more than one male female's don't answer! Also they will bark before it rain's!!!! But male's are the only one's vocal!!!

do tree frogs live that long? i thought their live expectancy was shorter...about sexing tree frogs, females in some species are larger than males, i have two monkey frogs and one of them is larger, thought no one of them emits sounds when it rains... but they do when i handle them they sound like chickens!!

Green tree frog longevity: 6 years 2 months years is the listed captive record. It should be noted though that the frog was obtained as an adult.
Sexing. Visually, green trees can be difficult to sex, especially if looking at a single animal. Females tend to be larger though.
More reliably is vocalization. If your frog never vocalizes, then the chances are pretty good that its a female.

cell phone/remote LMAO!!
Umm My white's actually don't do the calling unless there is at least 1 male and 1 female in the same cage or the cages are in the same room. The males will call out to the females..not vice versa.. IMO.. Ya really need more than 1 frog to accurately sex em and even then if you have 2 females.. well.. OH WELL..
