fire bellied newts

anyone out there have these? got a few the other week and they don't seem to be eating the blood worms they were supposely eating at the store. Anyone have any experience?

you know the funny thing. i kept one of those in a fish bowl for a LONG time when i was a kid. it eventually figured out it was in a fish bowl and took off.

so some time ago, i tried to get an aquarium set up for a couple of them. they ate that pellet stuff make for turtles and amphipians, and f/t bloodworms, and even each other. didn't really work out too well.

hopefully someone more helpful will come along.

Mine eat Tubifex worms, you need break it up a bit for them, and they should eat turtle food, mine wont eat bloodworm either
