Life is harsh

I came in last night after a bit of a party at a friends an thought I'd have a look at my recently re-homed baby newts, I lifted the lid off the tank to discover one missing frantic searching, then turning the room upside down revealed nothing. Don't know how she got out the lid hadn't been moved and she must have had to do some serious acrabatics to get to the lid in the first place. Just waiting to find a little body now............... sorry that sounds really horrible.

RIP Amy

Was it housed with other Newt's? If so maybe it didn't get out? maybe it became a meal for another animal!

She was in with other newts but they are all the same size. They're only babies about 2 inch from head to tail end. They occasionally manage to nibble each others legs in a feeding frenzy but blood worms are about max size food. No idea how she got out still, one of the others is a proper little Houdini but he's still in there. Guess I'll never know..........

Still not found her, found a cute photo of them so I thought I'd stick it here, my missing newt is the one on top, she's called Amy, then going down are Bender, and Fry, I do have another one called Leila but she hates getting out of the water so isn't in shot!

EDIT {Pic not working at the moment 'cos I'm updating my site, I'll post this back up soon}

Oh well still got three, But why doesn't that help

Sorry if this pic is rather large can't seem to be able to make it any smaller, might work this time!
