Back in february we took in a CARPET PYTHON in rescue here. The snake had a severe area of basically an open wound that ran down about 9" of it's back side. There were about 5 layers of retained shed on the snake which took 2 people about 1 1/2 hours to "peel" off of him. The snake was severely underweight and also a non feeder. This snake was also just about on death's doorstep when we got him also.
There has been a lot of work done with him to this point. He is now eating for us np and is quite "spirited" also when out of the cage. He is constantly on the move outside of the cage but can be handled np by most people here. YES , Pammy handles this lil guy without any problems at all even. He's one of her fave's to play with. Last nite he also shed in one piece for the first time since we had gotten him. All the other times the sheds were in 100's of pieces and we had to manually remove the shed from him ourselves...arghhh. This time he not only shed in one piece BUT also ALL by hisself too ..YEAH!!

You can see in this pic the area that was basicaly an open wound when he first came in here to us . The area is now healed up and there is a small amount of scar tissue existing at this point.

About as close as I could get for a head shot. he no longer sits still for long when out of the cage for us hehe.

This is basically his full body shot now that I could grab with him not sitting still for pics.
