Ap local pet store owner is on trial for feeding a live kitten to a 10.5 ft burm python. He did this durung store hours in front of customers and other employees. This happened in early September the last I have heard according to the news paper arcives, is that he is facing up to 500.00 in fines and 12 months in jail. He is being charged with crulty to animals. His argument is that he should be able to feed his animals what ever he wants. I am planning on contacting the county attourny in the next day or two to see what else is going on with the case.
