I've always had a perference for veileds. They seem to be a little more stress tolerant than most cham species... but any of the more common species (by common I mean ones you can easily find care sheets for, jacksons - panthers, etal) can be a good one to work with, just make sure you get a healthy one to begin with. I can't stress enough that your initial choice makes a whole world of difference in what you end up with for a pet. If you get a baby, make sure you go with the one that looks the healthiest and strongest, if a cham is going to expire its more likely to be in its first few months. You might even want to try getting an already established older one, if you're at all worried about stressing a baby. Once they are about a year old they become much more tolerant to changes in their environment and accidents in care.
