I decided to take one more back road before hopping ont he freeway to head home. Turned out to be a sweet spot next to an old cemetary down about 3 dirt roads. The further back I went , the more tin and abandoned buildings. I actually did not have my hopes up too much since the lows were in the low 40's and it was about 72 outside. Under the LAST piece of tin (in full sun), I found this beautiful Eastern Kingsnake. Not a bad start to the herping season since it was the exact species I was looking for.
