My rainbow, which is five months old, has struck at me three times but only bitten me twice. both times it was my fault, though. the first time I startled her when i picked her up. she was trying to burrow into a big fluffy chair i was sitting in. the second time she'd just eaten and i was pulling her out of her lunch bag, which smelled strongly of mouse, and my fingers probably looked pretty tempting. otherwise she's really sweet and even lets me clean moss off her face.
