Hey Steve,
i keep my ATB in a 8 gallon tall (16" long X 12" high X 8" deep) that i knocked out the front and made a plexiglass door so i can easily dodge the nips. and that'll keep him for about a year. i thought i needed the door but he hasn't bitten me yet when i go to get him out, but once he's out and i move my hand in front of his face he'll lunge out.
Julius knows a lot about arboreals and was saying that they like smaller spaces as opposed to larger ones. He keeps his adults in 30 gallon tall tanks and they just sit all day curled up on a branch. hehe i timed it right so that when my two carpets out grows their 10 gallons it'll be just about time to move the ATB into a ten and then into the 30 after my BCI out grows that.
