i got my cages put together today all that is left is sanding and polyurethane
all the corners were pretty tight and the few gaps that i had were filled with wood filler

my question is : do i need to use silicon or any other type of sealer?

i'm going to do at least three coat of minwax polyurethane on the inside of each cage
i was thinking the polyurethane will seal it but i want to see what some people who already built enclosures thought
