D3 is more for basking lizards (beardies,uros,chams)and so on.In the wild exposer to direct sunlight helps thier bodys make it on there own.Since floresents dont put off near as much UV radiation as the sun thier bodys cant produce adequate amounts of D3. Thats why theres supplements with D3.

As for D3 and leos there is reasearch being done on proper dosages.The problem is that leos are nocturnal so many people belive thier bodys have found other ways of producing it.
When you add it to thier systems on top of what it allready makes it can be to much.
What Im doing is using plain calcium powder all but on day a week.
