Re: Emperor Scorpion (Pandinus imperator) Care Sheet
I recently purchased my own P. imperator, and i'm worried he (she?) is ill. It is 4-4.5" long from the median eyes to the tip of the aculeus. My specimen was kept in a plastic shoebox-sized container with two others of the same size and only about 1/2" of bark chips for substrate. Now that it is in my care, i keep it in a 5 1/2 gallon aquarium with close to 2" of Eco-Earth as substrate. It has been three days since i purchased it, and he seems healthy, coming out at night and being about as active as he should be, but hasn't eaten the cricket i put in it's terrarium. I think it's just adjusting to it's new, larger environment, but how can i be sure? I'm a first-time scorpion keeper, and i would greatly appreciate any and all feedback. }##--^
