form what iv been hearing from other places is that the yellow ackie is a subspicies of the red ackiethere is all kind of names for these monitors iv heared ridgetail monitor,of course yellow ackie,spinytailed monitor from what i get i would just call them by there latin name varanus acanthurus,and the red ackie is the larger of the species dont think its a giant but just a way to sell it
