Zelph, have you tried putting the mice/rat in a feed box with the snake. I've got a JCP who will refuse to eat until I put her in a box and isolate her from everything else. Lights off, no noise, no smells. Just her and the mouse. Even then she'll just lay there for a couple three hours.
