Re: Size of an adult male kahl albino?
I have found that some "morphs" stay a bit smaller than "normals" - that said, I have a tiny hypo female (Sheva at just over 6 foot), and Janet, a big hypo at almost 8 feet. I have a huge female albino, Sydney, but Brad is small little thing (but he's young yet). It's all up to you to make sure that the snake grows to it's optimal potential without starving it into staying small, or powerfeeding it into being a slug. At six months old, Bandit, is also on adult mice/rat pups. So, I'd say that you're probably right on. As far as the "rats are better" - that's all up to opinion. I like to feed mice when they're still small, cause the mice have higher quantities of calcium - but again, that's just something I've decided to do with my snakes (with the advice of my vet).
