NICE ig...also nice ChWD...I have two aussie dragons...they are incredible animals!
Many people allow their ig to free roam given a few precautionary measures. One--be sure the ig is housebroken. Two--have an enclosure to keep the ig in for the times you are not home or for the times you have strangers in your home. YOu can never be too careful with people you don't know.
Also there is a health risk for small children for free roaming animals....so if you ever have small children in your home, you have to disinfect constantly and wash your hands all the time (my hands look like crap now from that reptile sanitizer).
Ig's need certain humidity levels too and it's hard to keep levels up in a house or apartment---at least if he can be in a humidity rich environment for a portion of the day he can keep his skin healthy this way.

Good Luck!
