Well, after looking at a bunch of other pictures, I am guessing that the kingsnake I found is an eastern... Some of the pictures I found were different, (like the bands were not as bright of yellow, or looked like they went completely around) but this snake does have those chains (as is in the name!) Cool 'nuff.... I think I shall let him go next week in the woods by the barn where I keep my horse. Same area, just farther from the road.
