I had a similar problem. Try this......put the mouse or rat while its in its paperbag or paperbox inside the enclosure. Leave it there for a little while...make sure to supervise while this goes on in case the mouse or rat gets out.....After a few minutes the snake will pick up the scent and feel the vibrations from the prey moving. The snake should start to get close to the prey and look very interested....once its close and hovering around the prey...take the prey out....becareful not to get bit by snake because its now in feeding mode.....take the prey, kill it, and offer it to the snake.....wiggle it a little bit....and it should take right away....hope this helps!
