Hi again, I have seen some pics on this forum of some giant Burms. Not big,GIANT! Now I have heard that a male Burm will be a bit smaller than a female Burm. I have a female Burm. She is about 4 feet long right now. She is a sweetheart. She has never even tried to bite me or anyone else. So now Im at a crossraods here. I knew full well how big this Burm would get before I bought it. I didn't know she was female though, until later. It seems the general opinion is that a Male will top out at 15 feet and 150-200 pounds. It seems a female is just getting warmed up at that size. While they are both huge snakes, the weight is the difference. Should I just get a Male instead of my female? Are they both so big as to not matter? I'am trying to do the right thing for the animal and myself for the long run. How many years does it take for them to get 18 feet and 300 pounds? Im curious here. As I said I want to do the right thing.Im being honest with myself, about having my doubts about keeping a snake that will get so massive. I may seem foolish to some here, but hindsight is 20/20 as they say. So any advice any of you can give me would help me out. Thanks
