Well that all depends on the type of boa really

Rosy boa's don't get big at all...but most people when they see one dont think "Boa".

If your looking for the traditional boa, then I would go with something like a Hogg Island or some other Island related boa's. Most of those dont get as big as say a Columbia or True Redtail.

Thats my 2 cents...I am sure others here will throw in there suggestions.

BTW do you have a cage already? If not that is a very important thing to consider also.
