Hi,
I know absolutely nothing about snakes. I found this baby snake near a river in Toronto, Ontario Canada and thought it to be a Garter snake, but looking online it looks nothing like any of the Garter snakes pictured. It looks more like a Smooth Green Snake or possibly a Rough Green Snake, but is this possible to find this snake in Canada?
Please if anyone knows what type of snake this is let me know. I would like to keep it as a pet, but so far I cannot get it interested in any of the food I have put with it. I would like to know what I should be feeding it. It seems not to mind it being handled and seems friendly. I will try to add a picture for viewing.
