I just linked in with someone today for rescues in the turtles area. I actually came home with 3 today even. they are all ornate box turtles. Their condition is ..
**very dehydrated
**eyes swollen soo much they are shut
**1/2 in hibernation
** person i get them from thought they had an eye infection [not case from what i see, there is no pus,discharge or the like]
Good news is...I have already gotten 2 of them to open their eyes...am working on rehydrating them...the eyes do NOT appear infected after they open em....they are "waking" up....
