straight on and in her face dude. just cover her head....DO NOT jerk your hand back and forth...trust me...just flat hand slightly cupped and in one motion...cover up her head and without hesitation...pick her up. I pick up some pretty mean snakes this same way daily...sometimes many times daily without a drop of blood being shed. I'm not saying I never get bit...but I don't always practice what I preach either LOL....sometimes I just dont care or have time to get overly concerned with the smaller nippy snakes.
