Rescue monitors

I picked up these two guys last Saturday. Both in relatively good shape. I was at the Waco show when I got them both. The blackthroat monitor has obviously had a pretty hard life. He's an older lizard, several scars, badly healed nose rub - and in mid-shed so h e doesn't look too good. At the Waco show he decided to mess in the large cat carrier he was being transported in. Well, the smell was so bad people walking by, and other vendors were gagging, covering their noses and their eyes were watering - so I had to do an emergency cleaning. Thankfully I always come prepared for stuff like that... but it did give him a name, Stench. I will be keeping him... I just need to build him a cage. The nile was completely psychotic and spend the last two days in one of my bathrooms, thankfully he went to his forever home last night. Minimal bloodshed on my part. He looked in fairly good health, an old burn scar on one side was the only thing I noted.
