First, thanks for the site and great info. Second I noticed that there was some editing on SteveJor's post. Don't forget my friend. You pawned this guy off on me when I wanted the tank because your wife made you get rid of your reptiles. I never asked for this one but now I got it, and I do like the little guy. I gave it a bigger cage. I went from your small tiny critter cage to a 10 gal tank. That could cause the stress from the cage transfer. I do clean the cage once a week sometimes once every two weeks. I feed him grasshoppers that I catch outside and crickets I get from the store. I use the eco earth soil that comes in bricks in his tank. I add the 2-3 drops of chlor out to his new bigger water bowl. I'm going to use a smaller dark light now for heat. I got rid of the repti bark that came with it because it would mildew and would stick to him. Not the mildew but the bark. I added a hide since he had none. Apperently I was getting yelled at by you stevejor, but I just showed all the things you didn't have for that frog. I'm guessing it is stress. I will take measures to lower the stress by changing his location from the living room to my bedroom. How often should I clean his tank? And he goes from green to brown and back to green. He's not constantly brown. Just FYI. To those for the help, thank you very much. That site is great for a starter on amphibians. If you can just answer the upkeeping question on how long I should clean the cage. That would be great and I'll see if I can't turn this color around to happy green.....
