Sorry it took so long to respond. But if you are still active and care to read this, I'll try to give you some input.
If your using glass or plexi to do the entire cage, good luck with the wallet.
But if you choose to make the entire front of the cage a big window, I can help with that. What I would do is to purchasing 4'x2' panels of plexi. Its cheaper to buy in pieces. Make vertical wooden supports in the front to glue the plexi onto. One (or two) of the sections could be made into a plexi door.
