well those two traits are completely different, salmon is a dominant (co-dom) genetic
trait, meaning breeding a salmon x normal there will always be a certain % that will
be salmon and a certain % that will be normal with no influence from the salmon at all.
(in a salmon x normal it is 50%/50%)
Breed a pastel x normal and the babies will be a mix of both parents, with no
specific babies being fully 'pastel', they will all just inherit various amounts of
the pastel influence. 'pastel' is just a variant of normal and not a recessive or
co-dom gene.
