When our emperor female had babies we split her off into her own viv leaving the male in the original viv.
When can we rejoin the male with the family as he does seem to be lonely?
Ive attached a pic to show relative sizes.
If it's still not safe to mix them, can we move the female back with him and let the babies raise themselves?
The babies are feeding themselves on medium crickets (using their stingers, which surprised us) Theyre roaming away from mum more often but they still fly back when startled and mum is still defensive of them.
